Service Description

This Food for Life series is offered by Food for Life instructors, Jill and Joel Erickson, and is exclusive only to PETA employees. Having previously taken part in the Nutrition Essentials course, perhaps you’ve begun the process of adopting a low-fat, plant-based diet. You may have noticed changes to your taste preferences but may also be struggling with reverting back to unhealthy food choices that leave you less than satisfied and further away from reaching your health goals. In this 4-class course, we will explore 1) how to make mindful and intentional food choices that will be satisfying, filling, and health promoting, 2) how to sustain a low-fat, plant-based diet while traveling, 3) strategies for talking about your plant-based lifestyle and finding support from others, and 4) creating habits to help you stay the course on your plant-based journey, feel confident, and enjoy your daily food choices.
